A sandy beach with multiple peaks divided into four areas: right-handers from the pool (to the east); right- and left-handers from the Moinho car park; right- and left-handers from the middle of the beach; left-handers from the Espinafres area (to the west). The three streams that flow into this beach influence its seabed during the winter months – their strong currents (which push the sand out) combined with the constant swell (which pushes the sand towards the beach) form sandbanks and high-quality waves. With strong winds from the SW (side off), it is a world-class windsurfing spot. With NE and NW winds, it becomes a very desirable spot for kitesurfing.
