Adega Cooperativa dos Biscoitos, CRL was founded in 1999, in the parish of Biscoitos. Today, it has the involvement of several dozen members. In 2011, approximately 7,000 litres of Magma wine were produced, and in 2012, 1,500 litres of Muros de Magma wine were available for sale, produced in collaboration with the renowned wine expert Anselmo Mendes. The Biscoitos Designated Region, where the Cooperative Winery is located, is characterised by its cultural relevance.
